When You Need to Keep Little Hands Busy
Some days you need activities that don't require a craft store run, a Pinterest tutorial, and three hours of prep. These are those activities.
Most of these use household items. Many work great for sensory seekers. All have been tested by River and his sister.
Paper & Cardboard Crafts
- Paper plate masks - Cut eye holes, decorate, instant dress-up.
- Cardboard box forts - The bigger the box, the better.
- Paper airplanes - Classic for a reason.
- Toilet roll binoculars - Tape two together, add string.
- Newspaper hats - Fold it like a boat but bigger.
- Collage art - Magazines + glue + paper = masterpiece.
- Paper chain countdown - Great for visual timers to events.
- Cardboard tube rockets - Paint, decorate, blast off sounds.
- Paper bag puppets - Draw faces, put on a show.
- Homemade bookmarks - Decorate card stock, done.
